Jonathan Hoffman L.N.H.A.
President, Chief Operating Officer, Chairman of the Board
Mr.
Hoffman started Management and Network Services Inc. in 1996 serving as Vice
President of Business Development. In 1997 Jon was named President, CEO and
Chairman of the Board of the newly formed Management and Network Services,
L.L.C.
Mr. Hoffman has over 25 years of long term care experience
including serving as Administrator for Trinity Retirement Community in
Beavercreek, Ohio, operated by United Church Homes from 1990-1995; serving as
Administrator of Leisure Oaks Convalescent Center in Defiance, Ohio, operated
by Volunteers of America from 1987-1989. He began his career in 1983 serving as
the Business Office Coordinator for six Volunteer of America nursing facilities
located throughout Ohio with a special focus on Accounts Receivable and
Collections. He is a graduate of Wright State University.
Becky Finnegan, RN, MS, MBA
Vice President of Care Coordination
Mrs. Finnegan has been with MNS since its inception. She has worked with the
development and implementation of MNS case management software, development of
the quality improvement program and has completed educational sessions with insurers,
hospital discharge personnel, and nursing facilities. She is currently working as
the LEAN Facilitator for the organization and has been involved with process
improvement throughout the organization.
Mrs. Finnegan is a graduate of Capital University School of
Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, The Ohio State University with a Master
of Science with a concentration in Nursing Administration and Capital University with
a Master of Business Administration. Prior to joining MNS, she worked in the acute
care environment as an Orthopedic Case Manager, Clinical Manager, Medical-Surgical
Clinical Nurse Specialist and Staff Nurse.
Joseph Pepoy
Vice President of Business & Provider Development
Mr. Pepoy started with MNS in July 1998 as Network Manager for Northeast Ohio.
He oversaw provider and payor relationships while developing the expansion of
the Network in Ohio bringing on numerous new insurance contracts, renegotiating
current contracts and expanding the provider network. He was promoted in 2000
to Director of Business Development and is responsible for National Expansion
and new business opportunities. His responsibilities also include Management
Leadership within the organization to ensure that our payers and providers are
receiving excellent customer service.
Mr. Pepoy has 25+ years in the healthcare field including
experience in numerous roles in leadership management in areas such as Operations,
Finance, Risk Management, and Marketing. He attended Cleveland State University
majoring in Marketing and Accounting.
Heather Tausel
Director of Provider Affairs
Mrs. Tausel started with MNS in 1999 as a credentialing nurse. In 2002, she
was promoted to Director of Network Development where she is responsible for
building and maintaining skilled nursing facility networks, credentialing all
network facilities and addressing all provider quality issues. She also assisted
in the development of the Quality Assurance Manual.
Ms. Tausel has over 10 years of long-term care experience.
Prior to MNS, she worked as an account specialist and a nurse consultant for a
national long-term care pharmacy. She received her Nursing degree from Belmont
Technical College and is currently pursuing her Masters in Marketing at the
University of Phoenix.
Rita Newcomb
Director of Finance
Mrs. Newcomb is a key member of the management team that took MNS from a start
up concept in 1996 to its present date. She conceived and implemented the centralized
billing, account Receivable, and payable system for this new start-up Company. She
has assisted in the development and implementation of the MNS CasePointe software
utilized for case management, network development, and business operations. Holds
full P & L and financial reporting responsibilities. She manages multiple audits
throughout the year to ensure internal policies and procedures, state and federal
regulations are in compliance.
Mrs. Newcomb has over 13 years of experience in Billing,
Accounts Payables, Account Receivable, and Financial Reporting. She is a graduate
of California State University, Northridge (CSUN) with a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Economics with a minor in Marketing.
Christi Jacobs
Director of Human Resources and Provider Compliance
Mrs. Jacobs has been with Management and Network Services (MNS) since inception.
She brought with her over 15 years of experience in long-term care pharmacy and
dietician sectors of the healthcare industry. Mrs. Jacobs’s tenure with MNS has
provided experience in Case Management, Provider Compliance, Human Resources,
Contracting, Relationship Management, and General Business Operations.
Mrs. Jacobs currently manages Human Resources and Provider
Compliance for MNS. Her extensive experience in the healthcare industry offers
distinctive insights on how to manage operations in a diversified environment.
Maria Clemens
Director of Reimbursement and Information Technology
Ms. Clemens has worked at Management and Network Services (MNS) since 1998 beginning her employment as a Business Operations Specialist. Prior to becoming the Director of Reimbursement and Information Technology, Ms. Clemens served a variety of different roles with MNS including collections, accounts payable, and receivables. In her current role, Ms. Clemens oversees the reimbursement segment of the organization, which includes all claim payments, billing, collections, and customer service. Ms. Clemens is also responsible for all Information Technology requirements for the organization as well as research and development for MNS’s Information Systems and state and federal policy compliance. Additionally, Ms. Clemens performs numerous statistical analyses for the organization utilizing numerous mathematical approaches.
Ms. Clemens has over 11 years of experience in the long-term care sector of the health care industry focusing on many facets of operations, relationship, and financial management. She is a graduate of Ohio Dominican University with a Master’s in Business Administration. Ms. Clemens is continuing her academic career by obtaining a PhD in Organizational Management with a focus in Leadership. Additionally, Ms. Clemens teaches Problem Solving and Decision Making Skills on an adjunct basis for Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio in their adult undergraduate program.

Melissa Shandor
Director of Business Development
Ms. Shandor started with MNS in 2001. Prior to becoming the Senior Regional Manager for Business
Development in 2006, she served as a Marketing Analyst and Business Development Manager. She is
responsible for maintaining relationships for current contracted insurance companies, obtaining new
insurance contracts, in addition to researching and analyzing healthcare data. She was instrumental
in the development of Policy and Procedures for MNS as well as a Marketing Plan.
Melissa has 8 years of long term care experience. Prior to MNS, she worked as a
Financial Analyst for a national institutional food service provider. She received her Bachelor of
Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance from Youngstown State University.
Donna Schwob
Manager of Care Coordination
Mrs. Schwob has been with MNS since July 2003 in the Care Coordination area.
Prior to assuming the role of manager, she worked as a Care Coordinator assisting
the facilities with the authorization process and communication with payors.
Mrs. Schwob is a graduate of Delta College School of Nursing
with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Nursing and Baker College with a
Bachelor of Business Leadership. She has over 35 years experience in the health
care field. Prior to Joining MNS she worked in the acute care environment with an
emphasis on orthopedics and over 10 years experience working in the Case Management
and utilization areas for an HMO in Michigan.
Loretta Mefford
Accounts Payable Manager
Loretta Mefford started with MNS in 2004 and brought with her over 10 years of national
long-term care pharmacy experience as well as 16 years of experience in the Banking
industry. She manages MNS’s payable department, oversees the Provider reimbursement
and account reconciliation functions. She assists with month end financial reporting
and provides support to the Director of Finance.
Loretta’s extensive experience in finance and accounting provide
her unique insight to many complexities of the health care industry.
Tim Luck
Business Development Manager
Mr. Luck started with MNS in 2005 as a Business Development Manager. Mr. Luck currently resides in
Chicago where he is responsible for Provider Relations in the Chicago area, as well as payor contract
negotiating for the western half of the United States. Mr. Luck has over 15 years of experience in the
areas of operations and sales management. Prior to joining MNS, he was a District Sales Manager in
Northern California for a large consumer packaged goods company responsible for the daily activities
of 25 sales representatives and the implementation of corporate marketing and sales objectives at the
field level. Mr. Luck graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Communication and is a licensed insurance producer in the state of Illinois.
Linda Young Beck
Manager of Provider Education
Mrs. Beck started with MNS in 2005 as the Manager of Claims and Collection.
As Manager of Claims and Collection at MNS she successfully utilized LEAN
principles to standardize the processes of Facility Claim Inventory, Payor
Billing and Collections. In 2009 she accepted the position of Manager of
Provider Education where she is responsible for National Provider Education
including the creation, development, and implementation of Webinars and
Newsletters to improve communication and customer service to the MNS Providers.
Mrs. Beck has been employed for over 25 years in the healthcare
industry which includes extensive medical practice and billing management in Physician
Family and Surgical Practices. She attended Ohio Wesleyan University majoring in Nursing.
